Website Link Exchange Information

McGrath Electronics manages website link exchanges for a few of our SEO customers and a few of our hosted websites. A large number of links is the second most important thing to have for good search engine ranking. The "quality" of the links is important. For instance Google ignores links from Yahoo’s business directory. The best links to have are from websites that are similar to your own. For instance, if you have a carpet cleaning company the best inbound links would be from other carpet cleaning companies. Of course reciprocal links from competitors in your area would be useless. However, links from carpet cleaning companies in other states would be very beneficial. If you would like to be listed on this website or any of the websites we manage, it is an easy four step process.

1. Create a Free Account
   • This step is necessary so you will be able edit your links in the future. We do need your email address but we do not share your email address with anyone.
2. Enter the Information about Your Website
3. Select the Websites Where You Would Like Your Link to Appear
   • While you do not have to have our link on your website before selecting one of our websites, you will need to enter the URL of your link page that our websites will appear on and the page must already exist. There must also be a link on your site to your link pages that the search engines and humans can follow so your link pages can be indexed.
4. We Add the Link to Your Website to the Sites You Selected

After you submit your listing request we try to get it put on the sites within 48 hours. Seven days after we put the listing on the site(s), and periodically after that, we check your site to see if our listing is there. As long as you keep a reciprocal link on your site(s) we keep them on ours. Please note that all listings need to comply with our acceptable use policy and are subject to the approval of the individual site owners.
